PARTS CITY AUTO PARTS LIMITED WARRANTY
Customer Satisfaction is our top priority. Because of this, Parts City Auto Parts offers you this Limited Warranty. This Limited Warranty is made to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable. This Limited Warranty is limited to defects in materials and workmanship of the product as supplied by the manufacturer.
Warranty Period: Your warranty period begins on the date of purchase. Most parts offer a one-year part replacement warranty, but may be longer or shorter depending on the manufacturer. If your receipt states Limited Lifetime Warranty, we will warrant the original part as long as you own the vehicle on which the part was originally installed. This does not include batteries, which carry a pro-rated warranty.
How to Return Parts: If you experience a defect during the specified warranty period, return the part along with the original sales receipt to any Parts City Auto Parts store and we will, according to the type of warranty, replace or repair the part. Replacement Part(s): Replacement parts provided as warranty replacement carry the remainder of the original warranty term or 90 days whichever is longer.
Tools and Equipment: Some Tools and equipment carry a "Repair" warranty, meaning they are repaired instead of replaced.
Refunds: Parts City Auto Parts reserves the right to refund your money instead of replacing or repairing a product.
Commercial Use: The warranty period for parts installed or for use on commercial vehicles expires 90 days from the date of original purchase, regardless of what may be printed on the front of your receipt.
What is not covered: This warranty does not cover parts that fail as a result of improper installation, misuse, abuse or the failure of another part. Parts installed for use on off road vehicles, racing or competition uses have no warranty. Parts modified for use or installed for use other than their original design and application have no warranty. Chemicals and oils do not have warranty coverage.
THE LIMITED WARRANTY ABOVE IS THE ONLY EXPRESS WARRANTY MADE BY PARTS CITY AUTO PARTS WITH RESPECT TO SUCH PARTS. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PIRTICULAR PURPOSE, IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY. PARTS CITY AUTO PARTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
